What If Everything You've Been Told About Pain Is Wrong?

You've been told to rest. To stop. To accept that this is just how life is now.

You've been told your body is broken — that the ache in your back, the heaviness in your pelvic floor, the fatigue that follows you through every single day is something you just have to manage.

what if that is not the whole story?..

What if pain isn't a stop sign — it's a signal? What if your body isn't failing you — it's protecting you? And what if, with the right guidance, you could teach it that it's safe to move, to strengthen, to live again?


That's where I come in.

I'm Ella — And I Get It. Personally.

I've lived with type 1 diabetes since I was 8 years old. I know what it's like to feel like your body has its own agenda. I'm navigating perimenopause right now — not in theory, not from a textbook, but in real time, in my own skin.

I'm not a coach who stands on the sidelines shouting "push harder." I'm in the arena with you. I understand the frustration of being caught between — between healthcare and fitness, between wanting to move and being afraid it'll make things worse, between who you were and who you're becoming.

That in-between space? That's exactly where I work.

I'm a CIMSPA-accredited movement coach based in Reading, specialising in Hypopressives, Mace Flow, and Rope Flow — three powerful, joint-friendly disciplines that most people have never even heard of.

But the tools are only part of it.

I won't tell you to ignore pain. I won't tell you to fear it either. Together, we'll learn what your body is asking for and give it exactly that.

I look at the whole picture — movement, breathing, stress, sleep, mindset. Because your body doesn't work in isolation, and neither should your training.

Maybe it's the sport you used to play. The walk you used to enjoy. The way you used to move through life without thinking twice. Somewhere along the way — through injury, pain, pregnancy, menopause, stress, or just life happening — your world got smaller. And you've been told to accept it.

I don't accept that. And neither should you.

Here's how the journey works:

Discovery Call

 A free, no-pressure conversation where we figure out if we're the right fit.

Movement Assessment

 A deep dive into how your body moves, breathes, and holds itself. This is where everything changes. 


And I'll be honest with you: 


If we uncover something that's outside my scope of practice, I won't just shrug and carry on. I'll refer you to the right professional — a physio, a GP, a specialist — whoever you need. You will never be left stranded. That's a promise.

Foundation Phase

Personalised 1:1 sessions to build your base, your confidence, and your trust in your own body.

Growth Phase

This is where I start gently letting go of your hand. Don't panic — I'm still right here. But you're ready for more. 


You keep your own individualised programme, but you train alongside up to two other people on their own journeys. Same space, same energy, same coach — different workouts. 


It's the accountability and connection of a community with the precision of personal training. Think of it as me taking the stabilisers off — and watching you fly.

Independence

This is the goal. Not to keep you forever — but to make sure you don't need me anymore. You leave with your own programme, the knowledge to adapt it, and the confidence to trust your body again. You'll know how to move, how to listen, and how to keep going on your own terms. 


My job was never to make you dependent on me. It was to help you remember that you were always capable — you just needed someone to show you. And the door? It's always open. If life throws you a curveball and you need a tune-up, I'm right here.
